Students' Harp Recital at Chartwell Waterford Long Term Care (June 12, 2022) 2-3 pm

Harp students from Dr Suen-Campbell’s harp studio will be performing a recital for the residence at Chartwell Waterford long term care residence in Oakville, Ontario. Students featured: Daniel Campbell, Christopher Campbell, Cathy Chan, Angel Gao, Eva Gao, Bernice Li, Katie Li, Emily Man, Zoya Melnykova and Maya Rispoli (in alphabetical order). They will be performing works by B. Andres, C.P.E. Bach, Elizabeth Volpe-Bligh, Benjamin Britten, Kirchhoff/M. Grandjany,  Hasselmans, Samuel Milligan, Carlos Salzedo and Valery Tihonova. All-Female Composers Harp and Flute Recital, Toronto Summer Music Festival (July 12th, 2022)

Teresa will be performing in a recital dedicated to performing works by  female composers, written for solo harp, harp and electronics, solo flute and flute and harp duet   with flutist Stephen Tam.  Composers include French composer Henriette Renié and Canadian composers Alice Ho, Jocelyn Morlock and Norma Beecroft, a world premiere for solo flute by Prof. Wendy Lee, and arrangements for solo harp by Dr. Teresa Suen-Campbell. Toronto Concert Orchestra Concert "Beauty," broadcast on Sept 14, 2021 at 7 pm

I will be performing and recording with the Toronto Concert Orchestra  on Aug 31 (TUE) at 7 pm, in their last summer concert, "Beauty." The concert will feature famous operatic arias and music by Czech composers such as Dvorak and Lehar. The concert will be broadcasted on you-tube on Sept 14 th at 7 pm. Senior Serenade Concert in Barrie, Ontario

Teresa will be performing well-known classics written/arranged for the harp by Handel, Massenet, Hasselmans, Schumann, Granados and Bach, as well as her own arrangement of Beethoven’s “Moonlight Sonata” 1st movement and improvisation on well-known hymns. Joining her in this concert is her husband James W. Campbell on the piano. They will be performing one work for harp and piano, “The Silver Pear Tree of Paradise” (2010), composed by James himself, a self-taught composer who is a judge by profession.
